«ΟΙ ΚΟΝΙΑΡΟΜΑΧΑΛΑΔΕΣ ΤΟΥ ΜΕΝΟΙΚΙΟΥ ΟΡΟΥΣ (ΜΠΟΖ ΝΤΑΓ)»

Σε απόσταση 7 χλ. περίπου βορειοδυτικά από το χωριό Αναστασιά του δήμου Νέας Ζίχνης Σερρών, σώζονται τρεις εγκαταλειμμένοι οικισμοί Κονιάρων - Γιουρούκων (Yörük): ο Ζίχνα Μαχαλάς (Zihna Mahala), ο Σερριώτικος Μαχαλάς (Siroz Mahala) και ο Ορτά Μαχαλάς (Orta Mahala). Στην παρούσα εργασία μελετώνται τα μορφολογικά και τα αρχιτεκτονικά χαρακτηριστικά των οικισμών αυτών (οικίες, θρησκευτικά κτήρια, υπαίθριες κατασκευές, νεκροταφείο) και ο περιβάλλων χώρος (φυσικό ανάγλυφο, φυσικοί πόροι, οδικό δίκτυο, σχέσεις με τους γειτονικούς οικισμούς). Επίσης, μέρος της εργασίας ιχνηλατεί την προέλευση των Γιουρούκων, τους λόγους και τον χρόνο εγκατάστασής τους στον βορειοελλαδικό χώρο, τις ασχολίες, τα ήθη και τα έθιμά τους. Σε σύγκριση με άλλες γνωστές θέσεις εγκατάστασης Γιουρούκων στον ελλαδικό χώρο, διερευνάται η παρουσία του φύλου αυτού στο ιστορικό γίγνεσθαι της Οθωμανικής περιόδου μέχρι το 1912, οπότε και οι Γιουρούκοι του Μενοικίου εκδιώχθηκαν.

«The Koniaromachalades of Menikio mountain (Buz dağ)»

The Koniaromachalades of Menikio mountain (Buz dağ) At a distance of approximately 7 km northwest of the village Anastasia of Municipality of Zichni (Serres, Greece), there are saved three abandoned settlements of Giourouki (Yörük)-Koniari: the Zihna Mahalas (Zihna Mahala), the Serriot'kos Mahalas (Siroz Mahala) and the Orta Mahala (Orta Mahala). In this paper we study the morphological and architectural characteristics of these settlements (houses, religious buildings, outdoor structures, cemetery) and the environment (natural terrain, natural resources, roads, relationships with neighboring settlements). Also part of the article traces the origins of Giourouki, the reasons and the time of their establishment in northern Greece, their occupations, their customs and traditions. In comparison to other known locations of Giouroukoi in Greece, the presence of this tribe is being explored in the history of the Ottoman period until 1912, when the Giourouki of Menikio were expelled..
